Barnes & Noble stores in town, that is. This Westbank location is much smaller than the Metairie one, but I prefer it by far for several reasons. The staff is ultra friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of the books is great in spite of the limited store size. The sitting areas are super cozy, with only a few really comfortable armchairs grouped together in several areas of the store. The Starbucks inside this B&N location has great staff as well and they make your beverage exactly the way you ordered it.
Plenty of parking and several other interesting stores within the same shopping plaza make this one of my favorite retail places in town!
