What needs to be said about this local icon? The exterior invites one in to experience it. There are fresh flowers, probably some hot food, and a smiling face usually welcoming one into the store.
I love the variety of fresh organic produce and their country-like signs. Another great thing is the bulk food section - it's awesome. Grains and legumes always beckon me. Plus, there's cookies, candies, flours, etc. It's great. If you need something you don't see, they'll special order it. There's a section of health oriented books and cookbooks, also.
The rest of the store is reasonably priced with a 'natural' viewpoint. It's easy to maneuver in here.
I know them to give local authors a chance.
