Relaxing Escape 2/25/2006

The Japanese Friendship Garden is small, but the admission is inexpensive, and I've found that the benefit of visiting after a long, stressful week is priceless. This garden is kept in pristine condition, and the other statues and sculptures are kept to a minimum. This leaves the space uncluttered and allows for walking without such things getting in the way and interrupting the calming atmosphere. I go early in the mornings on Saturday to avoid the weekend rush. This is a charming little garden and a great alternative to visiting the park. more
