This theater is, by far, the nicest one I have ever been to. There's a waiting area next to the snack stand that is nicer than some upscale restaurants, and the food offerings range from mango juice to smoothies to gyros. I wouldn't be surprised if they served caviar. The theaters themselves are also nice, with cushy velvet seats.

Located a stone's throw from Swarthmore College, Occasionally Yours is an intimate, friendly restaurant that has a charming, small-town ambiance. They let regulars keep their own coffee mugs on reserve. They also have great sandwiches, which they make fresh (though they sometimes forget key ingredients). Best of all, they have a policy where Swatties get a free lemonade with purchase, though they might have recently changed it.

Ezell's has the best fried chicken, and their spicy recipe is especially good. Best of all, their chicken stays crisp, even during the long ride home. And, as the other reviews noted, their biscuits are amazing. The wait isn't too long, but even if it were half an hour the food would be completely worth it.

If you are just starting chiropractic treatment like myself and are afraid of those dreaded neck adjustments, Michael Chan is the doctor to see. He an extremely capable chiropractor, an excellent diagnoser and a gentle adjuster. I always feel much better than I leave than when I arrive. The wait is never too long, and he has a capable staff. I can usually get an appointment when I want, though he's only in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This is, hands down, the most amazing club in the eastside. I just read that it is the largest health club in the pacific northwest, and I'd be hard-pressed to find one that fits one's needs so very well. The locker rooms are nicer than my family's living room, the restaurant has three tiers of quality (on the go, regular, and a swanky diningroom I've never had the guts to venture into), and the pools? Well, there are two of them, and they're big. The only con is that they close at eleven, which is pretty early. Skip the valet. Though I suppose you can do it if you have the money left over.

When I saw Margaret Cho, the theater attendants made throngs of people sit in nosebleed territory because they claimed that there were a bunch of people "about to show up" who had purchased all the seats in the close sections and were caught in traffic. We all moved down any way, and besides, that incident was a mere blemish in the smooth, creamy skin that is my paramount theater experiences. The theater fits many a body, but it's small enough to get a good view of any show you show up for. From the Smashing Pumpkins to Rent to Cabaret, every show looks exactly right at that theater. Parking can be hard, though.

Jet City is performed in a high school cafeteria. If that isn't enought to deter you, then maybe their unamusing, boring improv is. Nearly all the people who attend are high school groupies, and by the end of the evening I attended, I was getting pretty tired of sponteniety. Just don't bother.

I think that the nicest bookstore workers I have ever met have been at the university bookstore. When I solicited their help in finding a textbook for a class (when it was about a foot away from me) and then attemped to pay for it (without any money), the bookstore attendant was friendly nonetheless and even replaced the used book with a another one that was less tattered while I put it on hold.
They also have an amazing fiction section and a literary theory section over which you will drool. The atmosphere there is great, too. Nice for reading.

so, you thought it couldn't get any better than the tippy-top of that dratted space needle, eh? Well, sir, you haven't been to fun forest. They have hot dogs, cotton candy, and even caramel apples! In all seriousness, they have the great rides to walk the walk. My favorite is the contraption that, after strapping you in, throws you round and round in concentric circles while flinging you about.

You'll need a good, long day at this place to get any fun in at all, unless you enjoy waiting in long lines and losing all the people you came with. But the rides, for many, are completely worth it. There are plenty of awesome water slides and even a wave-pool. It's a long wait, but a fun time.,
