Yes, Murphy's in Old Town is an Irish pub, and a pretty good one at that. But it's their Sunday champagne brunch and trivia nights that make it a really great place to hang out all week long.
On Sunday, get a wonderful breakfast (omelettes, pancakes, traditional irish country breakfast, quiche, and more) and champagne for just $7.95 or $8.95! Champagne refills are just 50 cents (up from 25 cents awhile ago). In the winter, it's a really nice place to go with the wood fireplaces keeping the whole place cozy.
Tuesdays are trivia night, where you and a team of friends can enjoy half-price burgers, pints of Guiness, and of course trivia!
Service can be somewhat spotty, but it's all in all a great place!
