This is a great outlet mall. Unlike some outlet malls, they really have a lot of stores and the majority of them are high quality stores! This mall has some unique stores that you won't find in most outlet malls, like a BCBG outlet, Banana Republic, and Pottery Barn. There are a lot of clothing stores, but you will also find a lot of other stores like Coach and, Lenox, Potter Barn, etc. It's a little bit of a hike from the Detroit area, but the drive is pretty. Plan on making a day of it because it really will eat up your whole day if you want to go to all the stores. They also have GREAT restaurants there - fast food and not fast food. I highly recommend pizzeria uno, but if you're in more of a hurry there's a DQ and other fast food type restaurants. And - if you need a coffee fix, there's a drive thru starbucks right across the street! Definitely check out the outlets!!

Boogie Fever is not the type of place you go to every weekend. It's really a 70's and 80's bar with a great dance floor. It's always a blast to go, but I wouldn't want to go TOO often! The crowd there is great - there are younger and older people and some who look like they just stepped out of the 70's. Great music, great dance floor. There is usually a cover charge and be careful with the coat check. One time my friend lost her coat check ticket and she had to wait for EVERYONE to leave so she could claim her coat. Fun times though and a great place to go with a group of friends!

I love everything about Toast. It's worth the drive from wherever you are to try this place out. It's a small little place with tons of personality and local art on the walls. The food is so good. They've got a great variety from omelets to stuffed french toast. Everything I've tried has been so good. They have a special orange juice that, although somewhat expensive for OJ, is really the best OJ I've ever had. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and the wait can be long for a table. The staff is so friendly and they refill your drink before you even notice that it's low. Everyone must go!

The name might make you think it's just your average pancake house. It's not! The food is SO GOOD. They've got really unique breakfast items like these huge pancake/crepeish type things with fruit, pumpkin pancakes, ice cream crepes, I could go on forever. The bacon is to die for. The prices are also great. The atmosphere here is great too. It's very well decorated and always busy. That's the downside - if you go at a busy time you'll find yourself in a looooooooooong line for a table. They used to only take cash, I'm not sure if that's changed or not. Either way it's a can't miss.

This is the biggest display of snobbery I've seen in awhile. There isn't one drink here, even a beer, under $7. The patrons are all VERY dressed up (think suits and dresses) and everyone seems as though they've had lots of work done. The bar is beautiful on the inside and very very upscale. It would be an interesting place for people watching or meeting someone from the upper class, but otherwise not a good hang out for everyday purposes.

It might just be because I don't like Greek or Middle Eastern food, but this is one of the few restaurants I can say I didn't like. The food definitely had a Middle Eastern flair, which probably contributed to why I didn't like the place. The atmosphere was great though. The owner seemed to know everyone there and went around making sure everyone was taken care of and having fun. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the area. If you like Middle Eastern, stop in!

This restaurant is just an average chain restaurant. The usual food, burgers, chicken, etc. with the usual atmosphere. It's not bad, and it's not fantastic. It does seem like a GREAT place to bring kids, as I always see lots of families in here with small kids and they seem like they're having a great time. The wait staff is always so friendly and fun. It's not a unique experience but if you're hungry and don't want to spend a lot of money, this should do just fine.

I love the sushi from here and it's very reasonably priced. The atmophere leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant isn't very well decorated and the tables are very crammed in. I don't see a lot of people eating in, but it's a great carry out place. Just call ahead and pick it up on your way home. The sushi is so good and there are often coupons in the Val-Pak or Dollar Stretcher, which makes the price even better. They don't have a liquor license so if you do eat in, you can't have a drink with your sushi.

Java Hut is so great! First of all, it's open 24 hours a day so you can ALWAYS stop in for whatever you want. The shop has great character, with walls lined books and art and lots of tables, chairs, and couches. The drink prices are much more reasonable than down the block at the Starbucks. They also have a lot of really yummy bakery items. A lot of people go here to study, but be forewarned that on weekend evenings it becomes overrun with teenagers! This is my favorite coffeeshop in the area. Great character.

Sy Thai is great for everyone because they will really kick up the spice if you want or they'll go mild or even no spice if you don't like things spicy. The food really is great and I think it's the best Thai food in Oakland County. This is a great place for carry out - just give them a call, place your order, and pick it up 15 minutes later. The dining area is somewhat small and leaves a little to be desired in terms of atmosphere, so we always carry out. It's the only Thai I eat!
