and i mean that in a good way. pf changs is ok, but it's a chain and it's huge and not so authentic. and uwajimaya is a great place to shop but it's japanese, not chinese.
i LOVE uptown china, and i'm a new yorker who used to live a few blocks from chinatown and little italy. i had amazing chinese food at my disposal 24/7, and the only place in seattle that comes close to serving good chinese is uptown china. (ok, the international district has great places too but i don't know about those).
their food is very nicely prepared and served, and will get to your table quickly. and it's just good food. fresh, cooked well, great spices, etc.
they have a great lunch menu - several dished plus rice plus egg roll for approx $6.
finally - they have parking! a small but adequate lot is located behind the restaurant.
