Sparrow Hospital has a good reputation and I have had great transactions with this system from the technicians to the doctors, and of course, the nurses are GREAT! When I had surgery here I was very well cared for. When I have had testing, the technicians have been helpful and courteous. So far, all of my experiences with people connected to Sparrow has been positive.

Ingham Regional Medical Center is a good Hospital system. I have had surgery there and found the backbone of the system...the NURSES, to be top rate, committed and kind. My surgery experiences, as well as having testing done have all been done with great technicians and nurses. For the most part, the doctors I have dealt with have been good as well.

Clonlara has long been know for its alternative schooling concepts. They have a school and this Home Based Education Program that allows parents to school their children with their guidance. Though the contact teachers for this program are not always on top of things, the program itself is like few others in the nation and allows freedom in educational style for a number of families, allowing high school students who meet their requirements to graduate with Clonlara's accredited school diploma.

The Flint Public Library holds my childhood reading history in its stacks. My parents took us to this library every two weeks to keep our family in reading material. In times of no money, this library kept us entertained for just the cost of going there every two weeks. I still go to this library to browse its familiar stacks, whenever I can get to town...I know where to find what I am looking for here. The staff are friendly, the children's section is large, they have a relatively new Young Adult section that gets new books in regularly. This great large home to books old and new had much to offer a town that is so poor in many other ways...a true prize.

Central Park Bicycles has bikes, helmets, and accessories for riding, as well as treadmills. In choosing to buy bikes and a treadmill here, we found the staff to be very nice and very helpful, making suggestions based on knowledge and allowing us to test ride the bikes for fit and comfort. Come to think of it, my bike needs some maintenance before riding season really takes hold...hmmm

The East Lansing Library is a well maintained, well appointed library. Even though we are required to pay a monthly fee because we live out of district, it is well worth it in the fact that these funds seem to be used to my advantage. New books are purchased regularly, rarely do they not have a title I want to read. Maybe the books could be reshelved a little more quickly at times...but I don't mind looking through the shelving stacks too. This library is a one of the best that I have access to.

The thing that is most noticeable in Carousel Consignments is that you can see that care is taken on what they accept for sale here. Though this store is not huge, it is carefully , sorted and displayed. I have found many nice things here, reasonably priced and of great quality.
