I love Chinese food and it's rare to find a place in Chinatown that doesn't have good Chinese food. Unforetunately, this is one of those places. Hop Kee is just plain bad. I shared a chow mein and tofu dish with someone and we thought both were terrible. The dishes were flavorless and they used way too much oil. There are plenty of places all around this restaurant that have terrific Chinese food, so don't bother stopping in this one.
