If you are looking for a relaxing, inviting spa day, go to another Topper's (there are several in the area, my favorite is Center City). The Newtown one is in a strip mall, has very rude staff and does not give the spa experience you deserve for that kind of money.
Prime example, at the Topper's Center City, you get cranberry juice or lemon water. At Topper's Newtown you get the store brand cheapo cookies.
We were there on a Saturday afternoon. There were a total of 4 guests. Despite this, the front desk ran out of change and told us that they had no time because it was too busy to go to the bank to get more change. The bank was in the same strip mall, and no one had checked out for at least 30 minutes.
