My mother is a horribly picky eater. If its not a potato or a tomato, she wants no part of it. Since my husband is Chinese, this poses a problem when we eat out as an extended family. Imagine our surprise when we took my mother to Tan Tan for hot pot and SHE LOVED IT! We ordered the beef and shrimp only as my mother hates all things fish.
We have tried other restaurants hot pot but nothing has quite the same good flavour as Tan Tan. Other menu items here have much to be desired. But we keep returning for the hot pot, that is a huge meal in itself.
