I live in the neighborhood, so I'm a little biased, but I can honestly say that the wi-fi's fantastic (and free), coffee's yummy and the cupcakes are divine (I just had a carrot cake cupcake and raved about it to my wife).
Everyone who I've taken there seems to love it as well -- hope to see you in Madrona soon!

New java stop opened on 19th (next to Kingfish, and across the street from Monsoon -- specific address is 610 19th Avenue East, 98112) last week, and I absolutely love it. Dani (the owner) is extremely friendly, the coffee is delicious, and they've got free wi-fi -- what more could an internet addict ask for?
Small vittles available as well, in case you're needing some non-liquid fuel.

Brouwer's is all about beer... yummy, micro and imported, beer. The decor is nice and cozy... dark woods, stone, etc... but, they've done a good job of bringing in light with a huge overhead skylight and high/side windows. I didn't try any of the food, but the menu looked creative (not your usual pubfood), and the beer selection is fantastic, and as my waitress told me, growing daily. Their goal is to have something like 65 micros/imports on tap, and over 200 bottles.
I went with the Stone Brew Arrogant Bastard, and a London Special of some sort (I do need to start taking better notes). All in all, though, it was a fantastic 90 minutes, and I highly recommend Brouwer's for your exercise avoidance activities.
p.s. I believe that Brouwer's is associated with, or owned by, the same folks who bring us Bottleworks... a truly fine institution.

My wife is a professional landscape architect, so when we say that we are happy with the work that 'Gardens by Michael Angelo' performed for us, it comes with a little experience behind it. They performed a somewhat complicated project, worked the fence up a steep slope, added requested stabilizers, and in the end, provided a very professional look and feel/experience for us.

This is a comfy little pub, with good micro brew on tap, nice pub food and always fun entertainment (trivia night, open mic, etc). My only gripe is that the service can sometime be a bit slow, as they don't overinvest in waitstaff, but usually we're in no rush, so as long as the beer keeps coming, we're happy :)

My wife (Karen) and I are huge fans of Nishino -- is definitely our favorite sushi in Seattle -- only thing that could be improved, probably, is the location -- is on Madison near the Arboretum, but would be fantastic if it was on the water. Sushi is fresh, great edamame, nice wine list, and always fantastic service.
