Miller Park 8/19/2005

Miller Park replaced the old county stadium a few years ago, and we were looking forward to seeing the new stadium, as it has a retractable roof (they didn't need to close it, as it was a beautiful day on game day). And it's a great park (unfortunately, looks like the upper decks are nose-bleed sections, similar to US Cellular Park where the White Sox play). But there are good sight lines in the lower levels where our seats were. DH was happy to see that Leinie was sold here, not just Miller. The sausage race in the 7th (or ?) inning is always a lot of fun to watch (I always pick the wrong one, too). There is plenty of parking, and the tradition of tailgating in the parking lot before a game continues on. more
