Sacramento is not much of a gamer's town. Most of the comic book shops have closed, and Even Better Games has also closed. That's why Great Escape Games is such a godsend. They carry a large selection of current comic books, have all the current role-playing game books, a game room that's free to use, Magic and other Collectible Card Games, an extensive selection of miniatures and accessories for historical wargaming, etc. In short, they are everything that you could wish for in a gaming store. Their selection of back-issue comic books is a bit spartan, and used gaming books almost non-existant, but they can't be perfect.
