falafel is king 8/16/2005

Falafel King occupies a tiny inconspicuous space right off of the intersection in Emory Village. Housed in a building that would be more appropriate for a Chinese eatery, this establishment attracts many Emory students and staff for lunch. Thanks to the cheap but quality ingredients, it has reached a near cult-status with Emory students, who have formed a conference on their online community for the sole purpose of discussing this establishment. Their falafels are fried fresh, and they use fresh vegetables and condiments to garnish sandwiches. They also have some Japanese dishes, owing to the ethnicity of the couple who own the store. Despite the cultural incongruities present throughout the store, the food is unquestionable top-notch. more
