We've been Kaiser members for going on 5 years now and I'm very pleased with them. Yes, I've heard all the complaints and horror stories, but my experience with them has been overwhelmingly positive. (It helps to be fairly medically literate and to try to connect with your caregiver.) Where they really excel is at routine, common stuff--gall bladder removal, pregnancy & delivery, etc. They also are expanding into offering chiropractic, accupuncture etc. Some say the Kaiser model is the future of medicine. If that's the case, I think that's just fine.
