We had two daughters attend Monroe over three school years. In both cases, we had not-so-good experiences. We found that there are lots of bullies and disruptive students among the population. The principal and VP had a few meetings with our family to try to come to a solution. One of our daughters was physically hurt in one altercation (a student pulled a chair from under her) and that ended our stay at Monroe. Like most public schools, there a patches of good teachers, but overall, I can't recommend this middle school to a high achieving family or student. In all likelihood, you won't get the support you need.
