In short, the University of Texas at Austin provides a wide range of fields at an affordable price. Lately, the tuition rates have been on the rise with added fees for new constructions and restoration; however, the school is still a great value for the education. I graduated UT with a 5 year degree in Accounting and I have had a job lined up for over a year at a big 4 accounting firm. Not only does UT have a huge student body, but the town is amazing. There are a melting pot of cultures and activities to do in Austin. Keep Austin Weird! Take one weekend to come visit the campus and do some of the activities around Austin, and you will be sold.
