I've eaten at Riverside Brewing Co. several times. I had two totally different experiences both times. The first visit we ate outside, at picnic tables with a very loud band playing. After that experience I'm not quite sure why I returned. Though, I am glad that I did. My second visit to Riverside Brewing Co. was much better. I had a quiet dinner inside the actual restaurant. If you are out with friends drinking the outdoor eating is much more suited to you. For a quiet, relaxed dinner your best bet is to sit inside and enjoy your meal.
