In the basement of one of Manhattan’s most famous hotels lies this bar and lounge with eye-catching medley of models, celebrities and showbiz glitz.
The front re-vamped room with a circular bar is an intimate lounge. The middle and back rooms with grillwork, deep-pink pillows, patterned ceiling, mirrors and light pink walls present neo-Moroccan motif. The electro-led tunes and schizophrenic music mix needs to be replaced with tunes that sit well with the overall pleasant and surreal atmosphere of the bar.
Bar owner, Sam Shaeffer (Anna Wintor is his stepmother and Minni Driver a cousin) makes sure to prop up the bar with celebrities at all times.
