Laredo Middle School is in a great school district known as Cherry Creek Schools. It is one of the best districts in Colorado. The school is located next door to Smoky Hill High School, which has an open campus but I have never heard of a problem with the older children bothering the middle school kids. Laredo has students from 6th grade up to 8th grade. The students have a little freedom to choose a few classes they want along with thier required classes. They also offer intermurel activities after regular school hours

This place is a little small. If your looking for a good assortment of ethnic food I suppose this is the place to come. The variety leaves alot to be desired. Sometimes i am a little leary of how food is packaged. The staff is friendly. The prices are very affordable.

I took a few biology courses here to transfer to Metro State. I found the professors helpful and informative. The classes were actually very informative and well organized. My wife got her Associate's degree there and was very pleased that she could complete 2 years of transferrable classes for the comparatively inexpensive tuition she paid. She says that's the way to go. She was disappointed that they didn't offer 4th semester Spanish, though.

Smoky Hill High School is a large school for 9-12 grades. The teachers are excellent. They for the most part are willing to help the students any way possible even staying after school to help study. They also have extra classes that are offered after reglar school hours for students interested in different professions such as the medical field. Students are allowed to drive themselves to school although there is a yearly fee for parking in the lot. Make sure not to park in surrounding neigborhoods as your car will be towed if you don't have the proper parking permit. This school has an open campus meaning the students may come and go on and off school property as they wish. You will find many students at near by businesses at lunch times. This school is in the Cherry Creek School District which is one of the most well regarded in the state.
