The Musical Offering is an upscale cafe with delicious healthy food and classical music. You can often find University Professors chatting with students during a lunch break, or locals chatting about upcoming events at the nearby Zellerbach Hall.
I recently found out that the Musical Offering Cafe also has dinner menus, at a higher price than their lunch menu but for fancier palates. I had a delicious pork chop with roasted potatoes for $15 there and it was out of this world!
Their lunch menu is moderately priced, at around $5.50 for a hot sandwich with side salad. Their homemade herbal teas are quite good too!
They also sell classical cd's in the back store, hence the name.
I highly recommend the Musical Offering Cafe for those looking for a peaceful lunch or dinner, away from the Telegraph Avenue crowds.
