Elephant Pharmacy on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley is my favorite drugstore. Not only can you get your doctor's prescriptions filled, but you can consult an herbal medicine practicioner, an acupuncturist, take classes or even get a massage!
Elephant Pharmacy describes itself as an integrative pharmacy, where you can purchase Tylenol, high end spa products, organic coffee and a yoga mat all in the same place.
They also are a great place to find beautiful gifts for friends.
They offer classes (such as yoga, dance, etc) every day as well, which are all free to the public.
The pharmacy is staffed with friendly folks, and they are open most days until 9pm. The store itself is open pretty late, until 10 or 11pm on most days.
