The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is excellent, and the service is personal and outstanding. The owner is always at the restaurant and is extremely welcoming. The restaurant is somewhat small, probably around 15 tables, and is usually full for lunch and weekend dinners. The best tables are in the window looking out at the lighted trees on University Avenue. The menu has something for everyone - my favorite is the linguine with seafood in a spicy red sauce. They also have a bar with a fairly extensive wine list.
