If you visit New Orleans, you must have a muffaleta - an Italian sandwich with lots of sandwich meats and olive salad. And the best are found at Central Grocery. Go in, buy a half for you or a whole to split and then carry it down to the river front and find a good place to sit and eat and people watch.
Or just buy some of the yummy olive salad to bring home.
At lunch time there are usually long lines.
