The Larchmere Tavern at noon on any given weekday might as well be the restaurant of a country club. Ladies in tans and golf skirts, men in khakis, mingle with business lunches and families. It’s a charming atmosphere. The bread is plain white but remarkably good, and I highly recommend the buffalo chicken salad. Note: Service is usually rather slow. If you can’t find a parking spot on the street, there’s a lot in back.
