If you are looking for a good afternoon of fun this is the trip for you. Good for the family and beginner. Three of us took out on the Daily Double half day PM boat at the end of July. The boat was $37 each, tackle was $9 and a one day California fishing license will run you $11. We fished out off the coast of Imperial Beach and the silver strand. This day was great (with the exception of my girlfriend getting sick after her fourth catch). Almost everyone caught the limit of sand bass with a few barracuda in the mix. The crew was great; they instructed us on the best techniques, helped rig our lines up and even cleaned the fish for a small fee. Food and drinks are available on the boat at reasonable prices.
