I must admit that I've never so much as bought a goldfish from this place. So if you're a fish enthusiast, this listing will probably do you little good. However, for everyone else out there, hopefully you'll find this useful.
The Sixth Ave Aquarium is a really cool place to visit. If you are ever in the Richmond neighborhood in San Francisco, you must stop in to see it. I used to live in the neighborhood and always took out-of-town visitors there.
They have some of the most exotic fish I've ever seen including sharks, lobster, starfish, sea horses and jelly fish. They have two entire coral reef ecosystems in the store. Adding to the atmosphere is some sweet electronica music played over the loudspeakers as you peruse the fish. Young kids love to visit there too.
