Something different from your typical 'mega-plex' experience. The Magnolia is located in trendy Uptown (many unique shops and restaurants) and is reflective of this. The Magnolia plays many unique independent films (not entirely but mostly). My girlfriend and I saw 'March of the Penguins' there recently. They only have a few screens and despite being sort of upscale they were reasonably priced. The movie theater featured your standard concessions as well as a bar. The seats were comfortable and the movie was shown well.
