My friend bought a Honda Civic in 2001 from Carr's. I must say that with any car dealership, your experience is probably highly dependent on the individual salesmen you interact with. I went with her to this dealership twice; the first time, we had an extremely indifferent (not rude, just indifferent) salesman who just couldn't be bothered, I guess, but the second time we met quite the personable chap who managed to be earnest without being pushy. So needless to say, my friend bought the car. She's been pretty happy with their service and the price she paid. About the only reason why I would not, in fact, give them a higher rating than just 'good' is that one of their major selling points is that they claim to be #1 in customer satisfaction for Honda dealers in the Chicago region. But, you see, for EVERY customer there, they give them the following spiel "I'll give you a really good price. But could you do something really easy for me in return? Could you fill out this form, and say that we gave you really good service? That's all we want in return?" So - just how reliable do you think those #1 customer satisfaction ratings are? more
