I have read the other posts and most of the facts are untrue. I am currently enrolled in the program doing the CDML and while the cost of tuition is around $11,000, you are obtaining knowledge in photography. It is the same as going to cosmetology or any trade school. During and after the program you are job prepared. With regards to the student loans, I have not had trouble obtaining them. I was asked what the loans would be used for. This should not be asked because they are loans and provided for any living expenses just as college loans are. The instructors are wonderful and the lessons are fun. I did not read anywhere that said equipment was not required. You are going to be a photographer, you need equipment. This program is for SERIOUS students ONLY. If you just want to learn how to use your camera, then find a non credit class. I am planning on doing freelance photography and studio photography. This has been a wonderful experience. They will work with you on any school work that you have fallen behind on or if you need some time off. I absolutely love the school, staff, and instructors. Also, you HAVE control on what goes in your portfolio.
