I have been taking my animals to San Joaquin Veterinary for about 20 years now. Dr. Alfaro joined the hospital maybe 5 years ago? Anyways, I find her to be very knowledgeable and friendly. She has been very kind when we lost one of our pets recently. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I would rate her at 5 stars, and Dr. Stocks at 4 (hes a bit gruff-but good). That being said, the staff at San Joaquin has really slipped over the years. They definitely need to work on customer service skills, because they are seriously lacking in that area. I would say about a quarter of the staff is awesome, the other 3/4 need an attitude adjustment or they need to be replaced. Recently, I have started taking my animals to other vets because the customer service is so awful @ San Joaquin. I think that says a lot having been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I hope they can turn it around there before they loose more their business.
