AVOID AT ALL COST - The WORST Customer Service! 5/19/2010

We were a company visiting Milwaukee who rent trucks usually from National companies like Budget, Enterprise, U-haul, etc. A local recommended SIVA (and mistakenly thought it was Avis' truck division- it is not). SIVA is a locally owned company and we had terrible experiences with them. First of all, we requested to add insurance through them when we first rented our vehicles. They agreed on the phone to do so. One of our locally hired temporary employees damaged a truck. When we called Siva to report the damage and go through insurance, they informed us that they do not carry insurance. What? We pointed to our invoices and rental agreements generated by Siva that CLEARLY states ""Rented with Liability, with Collision, With Damage"" Their argument? ""these are standard templates. That doesn't mean we actually offer those things."" Next step - Siva REFUSES to wait for our company insurance and automatically charges almost $3,000 to one of our temporary employee's personal credit cards. When the employee called to complain that she was a freelancer and had nothing to do with the company or the insurance company, Siva steadfastly refused to care. They were extremely rude and even hung up on that employee on one occasion. They NEVER provided an estimate of damage or even notified that person that they would charge the credit card. One month later they have still refused to credit the $3,000 charge (for minor scratches on a truck by the way) even though they have an ongoing insurance claim open. All in all - NOT trustworthy, RUDE, and completely not worth it. We are a respectable, professional company who operate with integrity. We definitely cannot say the same for Siva. They suck. Cons: horrible customer service, not upfront, NO insurance, awful more
