Worst Place for Diamonds 2/19/2010

This has to be the worst experience buying anything in my whole life!!!!! I found a diamond and a ring that I liked and was going to purchase them. Put down a deposit and he sent the ring to his ""goldsmith."" When the ring got back it has all sorts of problems!! It was no longer a ring but more of a square! I was shocked that they could take something so beautiful and make something so ugly!! When I told the sales person about how disappointed I was he tried to tell me that that is how rings look when they get re-sized. Are you kidding me? I guess they think that they can trick some people into buying crappy jewelry! They tried to fix the problem by sending it out to the same ""goldsmith"", but by then I was so angry that they tried to sell me something that was of poor quality I didn't want to deal with them. Talked to Steve Heart the owner and he is a complete jerk. I told him about the problems and he basically didn't help at all! When I told him I didn't want to purchase anything from him he hung up on me!! No really, Hung up on a customer!! He is not a wholesaler! Just a guy selling a product. His prices are no better then other places. When he says that an independent appraiser will appraise the ring for over 3 times the value, don't believe it. Its a sales gimmick. I talked to the Appraiser and he told me that what he appraises for is never what you would pay in a retail store. I found out that all Steve told me about his product was to sell his product. Such a bad experience. I promise, you can find something better for the same price in other stores around the valley! I did. Same ring with a reputable warranty for the same price. Put a deposit down and never got it back. Nice job Steve, you thief. Pros: NONE DON'T GO THERE Cons: STEVE HEART THE OWNER!!! DISHONEST more
