I admit that I go to St. Marks because of the convenience-- and only the convenience. I find it's usually a good place to work, I usually run into someone I know, and I like the natural light. That said, SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. Today I witnessed a barista roll his eyes at a customer blatantly, and later, when there was a big crash behind the bar, he came up to my acquaintance (who does not know him that well and had nothing to do with the crash) and actually asked him to help clean up and walked away before he could answer! A bit unprofessional. I know that the service industry is trying, I've worked in it. But please, try and be polite! And if you don't like people, consider getting a desk job instead.
