We had our mom in A Touch of Home for over two years. I have seen many, many assisted living places and cannot imagine finding a better place to take care of a family member. Our mom received excellent care, good food, good medical care and care above and beyond by a loving staff in a warm, clean, homey environment. Family members are encouraged to come by anytime and we did!! Two years after our mom has passed away and I still visit the home now and again and regularly see Sharon and Thesea (mom and daughter who own A Touch of Home) on a personal friendship basis that was developed as a direct result of our mom being in their home.\r

I totally disagree with the negative review that was written and it is just not true. I recommend A Touch of Home to everyone I know who has family members in need of such a place. We were able to enjoy being with our mom and visit her in a wonderful home in a lovely setting. We participated in lunches, parties, activities, etc. - we were there one to two times each week - so if there was anything out of order - we would have known about it! \r

Please take the time to visit this home, meet the owners and staff and see for yourself - I think you will find that my review is much more accurate and truthful.\r
