We have purchased parts from them and had them do repairs for us. When we could not longer get the parts for our favorite old pair of speakers, Austin Speaker found suitable, comparable replacement parts and re-fitted the cabinets to accept them. He even let us listen to a couple of different set ups before we decided on which one he would complete the repair with. The sound was every bit as good as they were when we first got them, and the price charged for the repair was very fair.
Funny thing--we got to talking audio with a friend and found out that Austin Speaker is where he has always taken his equipment too.
As for the ""customer service"" comments from other people who have posted here, my guess is they have different expectations about customer service. Austin Speaker is a casual place. They don't wear starched shirts and call you sir, they repair speakers. And they do it very well.
