The Dal Rea is a real nice time out to an upscale dinner. The joint has been around since the 1950?s. So even if it?s been remolded a bit, there is still a cool swank to the place. I had the French Onion soup ?C+?, a Cesar Salad made fresh at the table ? B?, a tasty Prime Rib Eye on the bone toped with crisp fried onions and green beans on the side and a baked potato ?B-?, a good Bread Pudding a ?B-?. Unfortunately they server one of the cheep brands of restaurant coffee like Farmers Brothers brand. With 3 drinks it was about $70-80 for me. I prices were a bit high for the area... it would have been ok if it was located in a hip part of town in L. A. somewhere.
