When I moved in in 2006 I paid about $18.00 a month...now I pay about $35.00 a month....A 100% increase in cost over 2 years?!?!?! Are you kidding me? We also have no choice in water service. There are only two adults and one infant living in our duplex...we don't wash cars and we don't water our grass. My neighbor 3 houses down didn't pay his bill and they cut my water off. Then when I called, there was NOBODY there! Not even on their "Emergency" option on the answering system. My wife eventually got in touch with somebody in their corporate headquarters in the midwest and they called the local supervisor....it was too late though, I had already turned my water back on with pliers. This is just ridiculous service and I cannot believe that we have no other choice...talk about a monopoly.
