We adore Mexican food, and love to find new places to eat. This is NOT the place to go. We went to Cocina del Charro today, and can honestly say that it was the WORST tasting food we have ever had. It was simply awful. I had chile relleno and a tamale, my friend had the rolled tacos and cheese enchilada. Our food arrived quickly, but it was incredibly bland, and the sauces were particularly horrible. I've had frozen food that tasted better. The service was adequate, but the food was not. I wish I could convey how awful it tasted. It didn't taste like Mexican food at all. It was a very poor attempt to pass as food. As we walked through the parking lot, I saw a woman walking with a bag of dog food- my friend and I laughed because we both agreed that at that point, that dog food looked mighty tasty. Sad, I know. It's now 3 am and my stomach is still hurting from the bad food I had at Cocina Del Charro. :(
