Vegetarian food to die for 6/28/2007

Most of the time when I frequent a restaurant I know exactly what I want (one of the two vegetarian options). When I go to LPC, I have no idea what to order. The vegetarian/vegan options are extensive (and my carnivorous friends can only get free-range chicken as a meat option at LPC). So far I have had several burritos, chips and salsa, and the most AMAZING vegearian chili ever. As of yet, I have not had any meat found in my food, no slow service, and no problems at all. The food is always piping hot and delicious, and a good break from macaroni and cheese, and sandwiches. For those worried about bland flavor, I assure you this is not. I order my burritos without the Pico de Gallo (cilantro is yuck), but add the habanero salsa for an extra spicy kick. There is a large children's menu, with the most expensive item priced at $3.75. You can keep your lunch extra cheap with no drink (trust me, you won't have room for anything but water), and no added meat or tofu (beans and rice make complete protien anyway). Go get some today, and make sure to try the chili. It might burn your intestines, but it is the best thing I have ever eaten. Be sure and take your kids, as the Belmont location has fun dinosaur toys to keep them busy. Pros: Quick service, delicious food, fresh and local ingredients Cons: It is a chain restaurant. more
