I chose Chanterelle for Mother's Day. What a mistake. We were 10 mins early for our reservation. The line was already long to check in. We were then seated 25 mins after our reserved time. No one acknowledged the late seating. The place was packed. We had to pick a route to our table as to not ask people to move in their chairs. We were greeted quickly and asked what drinks we would like. After that, we did not see that waiter until we were finished with dessert. We should have asked for the bottle of champagne, because refills were not prompt. The buffet food was very tasty, but they were out of some items. There was a wait for the ""best"" items...the seafood. Also, desserts that were there early on, were then not available whe we were ready for dessert...perhaps had we been seated on time! I should add that we were not the last reservation of the day, so I don't know what the next seating did for food. When we were finished eating, and the next seating was breathing down our necks, then the waiter was always there. Bottom line, for almost $200 for four people, this was not worth it. There are several others brunches in town for much less, that are much higher quality and with much better service. Chanterelle obviously overbooked for this special occasion, but still could have made our brunch enjoyable.
