Tucked away on non-descript Eagle Rock Blvd, Juanita's has great, fresh, reasonably priced Mexican food. Though the decor is nothing to write home about, the portions are generous, carefully and freshly prepared. I ordered Steak Picado (around $9); it was 3 thinly sliced steak pieces tender and flavorful. The steak was served also with a wonderfully prepared rice, side of a mixture of fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes and onions. pinto beans, and lettuce/tomato salad, Yummy... They just have a few tables and during my visit I only saw only a cook and a friendly server; so you might wait for a few more minutes for your food but you'll be happy you came.
