The bar has a tremendous atmosphere. We call in regularly for a glass of wine and end up staying for a bite to eat - Chui, the barman is at the top of his profession and knows how to look after his regulars. If you want to sit at the bar to eat the blue cheese Molly Salad with a baked potato is great
Otherwise be prepared to book well ahead of time, or wait at least 30 minutes for a seat. When you get the food you won't be disappointed though it is good rather than great (except for the Prime Rib which is excellent), and if you have a vegetarian in your party forget it.
The seating hostesses can be sullen and peremptory in their approach.
Unquestionably the attraction is the atmosphere in the bar, the quality of the bar staff and the consistency of the food.
