Having heard great things about this restaurant from various sources, I was expecting much more than I encountered.
The portions were small and the presentation was pathetic; the decor looks like a cafeteria in a retirement home and the white apron of our server was smeared in something that resembled roadkill. This is supposed to be French Cuisine?! ""Rue"" is as French as Freedom Fries.
Thinking that I'd somehow walked in on a really, really bad day, I gave Rue another chance at brunch, the highest recommended meal of the week. No luck, if possible it was even worse. They should spend less time on PR and more time backing up their reviews.
