Best in the nation? Absurd. Best in Austin? The food doesn't deserve to make the top 10. Fun place to see a show - you bet. Stubb's gets great acts and has some amazing shows. Come for the shows, but don't stay for the food. You can get better 'q at chain restaurants than Stubb's. If you're looking for barbecue, go to the Salt Lick or Ironworks. If you've got Yankees in town, take 'em to Stubb's for the music and atmosphere -they'll feel comfortable with the lousy service and the below average food.
