Look out! i do NOT recommend dr. larsen. i saw dr. larsen for a couple years and he did fine on the routine stuff but...when i finally had a cavity he drilled and filled the hole TWICE, each time failing to numb my mouth sufficiently and somehow not getting the cavity cleaned out. then he drilled in such a way that he either cracked my tooth or broke through to the root which led to a massive infection and subsequent root canal (also with multiple attempts at drilling before i was numb). weeks after the root canal i was still in so much pain, as in can't chew a banana, that i went back and he discovered he had botched the job. there was no way i was going to let HIM redo the root canal so i went to an endodontic specialist who speculated that dr. larsen didn't have sufficient experience with the more major dental procedures.
i think a lot of people recommend him because he is a nice guy and they give you gifts for making referrals (wine or chocolates). now i recommend dr. jana raisler who i have reviewed on judy's book.
