I hate going to Whole Foods but I do when I have to, only because it is within walking distance. They are selling you a "lifestyle", exemplified by the baby section where they actually sell baby clothes (!) and those outrageously expensive leather baby bootees. I've never had a baked good there I liked, and the lines are *so* slow! The only reason I ever go there is for the salad bar to get lunch for my kids. Incidentally they do have a kids meal at the sandwich section, but I don't get it because it is cheaper to just get something from the salad bar. Basically, I don't want to buy into their marketing plan so I don't shop there regularly.
