I was seeing Dr. Albernaz about some sinus issues I was having and could not have been less impressed with him and his staff. After waiting close to 1 1/2 each visit before the doctor even came into thr room, it was obvious that the doctor didnt care enough about his patients to speak to them for more than 60 seconds, at the most. Then he uses medical terms nobody would understand and doesn't explain anything he's doing. After getting a bill for a procedure I didn't even know I was having when I went in for a regular follow up appointment, I refused to see him again. Neither the doctor nor his staff explained anything about the procedure to me (the pain/bleeding that I would experience for days afterwards) or that I would be paying out of pocket because it was not covered by my health plan. He also referred me to another doctor for a certain procedure (that seemed to have mo conmection to my problem) which the doctor would not even consider performing because he said it was unnecessary. This doctors only concern is making money, not helping his patients...
