My husband and I stayed at the Luxor in August 2008. We paid for a pyramid room and were upgraded to the newer tower portion of the hotel. The room was beautiful! The bathroom had marble everything. The buffets were very good, but pretty expensive on Sundays, for whatever reason. The pool was huge and there was no problem finding lounge chairs. The pool servers were plentiful, so we didn't have to wait long for refills :) This hotel is at the far end of the strip and it's quite a hike to the center of the action. If you like the Egyptian theme, this is definately the hotel for you!
